Canon 5D

Canon 60D

The Canon 60D is quickly becoming our favorite camera. It has all the image qualities of the 5D and 7D, but with the extra “video” features you want in a camera.

Red Rock support systems

The beauty of the DSLR production systems is that they are fully customizable depending on any project’s specific needs. Mattebox, Follow Focus, Shoulder mounts, tripod mounts…however the camera needs to be configured. We also utilize elements from other manufacturers such as Chrosziel and Cavision, but it all works together seamlessly.

This little gem is Rock Solid. The expandability and compactness of this system makes it the most versatile tripod we’ve ever used.

Cool Lights LED lighting system

The advancement in LED lighting, just in the last few years has been remarkable. Aside from the advancement of camera systems, lighting has seen the most improvement in this time. LED lighting allows for fractional power usage while still outputting enormous amounts of light. Lightweight, no heat and the ability to light ANYWHERE thanks to battery power, these LED lights can be a lifesaver in certain shooting conditions.

Lectrosonic Wireless Microphones

Like a lens on a camera, the quality of sound is determined by the quality of the mic first. At Splash, we didn’t cut any corners when it comes to the quality of sound recording, just like we didn’t when it came to our lenses. With dual system sound recording (meaning untethered from the camera) and wireless microphones, we can place our microphones and our sound recorder anywhere we need to capture pristine sound on location. Sound makes up 50% of television. Why treat it any less important than the image?

Glidetrack HD camera slider

The little things make a big difference. Adding this camera slider to our camera package allows us to add that little “extra” that can make a huge difference in the look and feel of your project. The slight dolly left or right in a shot, even if unnoticed at first, can give your video that cinematic quality that you just don’t get on most “locked off” shots. We love this thing!

Heli GoPro Cam

This is the newest toy in our arsenal at Splash. We’re still finding new ways to implement this bad boy into our productions (and learning how to fly it at the same time) but never has HD aerial footage been this easy and cheap!
